“Human Safari brings jazz improvisation to techno.” Yeah, okay. Whatever, that’s going to sound… wait, wtf? If this is jazz, chain me to the wall.
The jams on Culture Shock bring techno to a whole new level that you’ve probably never heard before. The jazz improvisation fits perfectly into the genre in a way that I would have never expected would work so well. My only gripe with this album is that the album art isn’t a mouse playing a piano. While I will take this fact to my deathbed as a missed opportunity, the tunes are still worth checking out. Don’t miss out.
